Virtual Guided Tour

I was excited to work on this interesting project. The University of Exeter’s College of Life and Environmental Science was looking for someone to develop a virtual guided tour using the ARIS app platform. This allows location specific GPS points to be loaded into a map, which trigger items in the app to appear when you visit them.

Using the platform in this way allowed us to guide people around the University campus. This was done from the point of view of a biosciences students, so that the app could be used as a promotional tool for prospective students.

Tasks involved building the tour on the platform, filming videos of staff and students, creating a character to speak with the user.
